This new version makes optional the Identity Verification Step at the end of the sign-up process. So, starting from this version, non-verified users will be able to use Sila. Verified users will be distinguished from non-verified users by a blue badge near their name. As a non-verified user, you will be able to see non-verified profiles only! You can, of course, request verification at any moment by clicking on "Request a verification" on your profile screen. As a verified user, it is up to you to decide if you want to see only verified profiles or also non-verified profiles. You can enable this option on the "Discoverability" screen. Non-verified profiles will never be able to see your profile unless you decide to swipe right on them. A profile validation is still required before a user can start to use Sila, and any profile that doesn't respect the Sila guidelines will not be validated and allowed to use the app. If you have any feedback, feel free to contact us.
